Due to the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, Morningside Madness – our annual 36-hour day of giving event typically held in mid-March – was postponed. While we felt it was not appropriate to move forward with our usual giving event, we do want our students to feel the strength of the Morningside community and understand that they matter, their experience matters, and their Morningside education matters.
While there will be many ways to participate in the week, a vital component of showing our students support is giving. Your gifts will provide student scholarships and support initiatives that will continue to make the Morningside experience possible, particularly in these trying times.
With that said, we do know that many people and families are facing financial challenges in the wake of COVID-19. Our thoughts are with those facing these challenges and with the essential workers risking their lives each day to provide services that many of us have taken for granted until now. While there are many ways to participate during the week, raising funds for our students is vital. Our goal is to shine a light on the strength of the Morningside community and recognize the people that make it so special.
Your support and gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and needed more than ever. Each individual, each show of support, and every dollar are important steps in reaching our goals and making a difference.
Together, we are Morningside strong.
