What is Morningside Madness?
Morningside Madness is a 36-hour giving event that supports the Morningside Fund. The money raised provides critical funding for student scholarships, academic and extracurricular programs, faculty development, technology, and campus life. Through the support of generous alumni and friends, Morningside is able to offer unique educational and experiential opportunities to its students.
As Morningside University launches the next generation of leaders into their own bright futures, we invite alumni, parents, and friends to join us on March 15 & 16 for Morningside Madness.
How will the gift be used?
All donations received will go directly to the Morningside Fund, which is the foundation of support at Morningside. Money raised provides critical funding for student scholarships, academic and extracurricular programs, faculty development, technology and campus life.
Besides making a donation, how else can I help?
Sign up to become an Ambassador - tell your friends! Your voice will make Morningside Madness a success. Post about Morningside Madness on all of your social media platforms and tag your friends using #MsideMadness.
I can’t make a large donation. Will my gift really make a difference?
Yes! In fact a gift during Morningside Madness means even more as it unlocks gifts, whose proceeds also benefit the Morningside Fund. Your gift also contributes to our alumni participation rate, which in turn raises Morningside’s profile in national rankings and increases the value of a Morningside degree
Is it safe to make a gift online?
Yes! All gifts will be processed using a secure online giving platform. The information collected will be used only by Morningside.
I signed up as an Ambassador using my Facebook log-in, and I am no longer seeing this option. What do I do?
Thank you for your interest in signing up as an Ambassador this year! You will need to create a new account, even if you previously signed up through Facebook. To do this, click the "Ambassadors" button above, fill in your email address, click "sign up," and check your email to complete the sign-up process. You will then have access to a new Ambassador Dashboard and custom Ambassador link.
How can I make a gift?
We know how valuable your time is, so we’ve made the process quick and easy.
On March 15 & 16,
1. Click on the “Give Now” button to make your gift online.
2. Call any of the following numbers to speak to a member of the Institutional Advancement team: 712-274-5409 or 712-274-5107.
Can I still make a gift if I didn't graduate from Morningside?
Of course! The Battle of the Decades has a group specifically for Morningside Fans and Friends.
Is my gift to Morningside Madness tax-deductible?
All Morningside Madness gifts to the Morningside Fund are considered a donation. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law. Your gift will be acknowledged with a confirmation from PayPal, followed by a receipt letter from the Office of Institutional Advancement for your tax records.
